먼저 this time 와 that time 의 차이부터 알아보겠습니다.

This 는 ‘여기, 이곳’에 있는 사물을 가리키는 말이고,

여기서 “그 때는 내가 세상에서 가장 불행한~” 이라는 문장으로 해석 할 수 있지만, 여기서 “그 때” 보다는 “그 시절에” 라는 뉘앙스로 at the time 를 사용합니다. At that time 로 하면, 특정 기간을 의미하는 ‘시절’이라는 뜻보다, 어떤 사건이 일어난 그 ‘순간’이라는 뜻으로 해석되는 경향이 있기 때문에, at that time 은 적절하지 않습니다.
